Have you bought a home with
a Mul-T-Lock lock?

  1. Most Mul-T-Lock keys are customized with the High Security Certified Professional’s name and phone number on the key head.
    • KeyIn the case of keys with a nylon head, a four-digit Certified Professional’s registration number is stamped on the blade of the key
    • Use this number to search for their location using the locator function on this page
  2. Mul-T-Lock high security key systems are registered to the original purchaser to prevent unauthorized key duplication. As a new owner you will need to meet with the identified Certified Professional and bring the following documentation to transfer the ownership registration:
    • Transfer of home ownership: lawyers' summary of account regarding the purchase and sale of the property
    • New owner’s photo identification: passport or driver's license
    • Previous owner's Mul-T-Lock High Security Card (if available)
  3. A new Mul-T-Lock High Security Card will be issued to you, and anyone else you designate.
  4. You are now the legally registered owner of your Mul-T-Lock system.
  5. Discuss with your Certified Professional whether rekeying the lock system is something you should do.
